Hello, Sorry for the late reply. I'm not actually aware of any places in the Geneva area that sell small lengths of nice wood like Walnut. Hornbach and Jumbo do sell Hobbyist sizes of Oak, 50 cm lengths in various thicknesses for example. I have bought more exotic woods in small batches by simply going to Amazon however. Alternatively, and if you are feeling brave, you could go to big suppliers like HIAG or Corabois and ask them if they have any off-cuts.... maybe take your kids with you to get the guys at the counter more enthusiastic about your request. It would be a fun excursion for the nippers too;-) Cheers.
